Assure Care Ltd’s Director and Registered Manager is Kadian Kennelly, an experienced Social Worker with years of experience working in the adult social care sector. Kadian obtained a MSc in Social Work in 2012 from the University of Bedfordshire. In 2014 she qualified as a Best Interest Assessor. As a social worker, Kadian had the responsibility of assessing the needs of service users, commissioning support and services and also reviewing care packages to ensure that the level of care and standards remained fit for purpose.

Kadian has also had the pleasure of working as a carer for many years, supporting service users in their own homes with a range of tasks ranging from, medication administration, meal preparation, assistance with personal care, providing companionship, to live in care. In addition, Kadian worked in HR and as part of her duties recruited and vetted staff for their roles and in so doing has obtained an excellent knowledge of the recruitment process.

Kadian has also successfully managed a limited company for the past 3 years and she is also registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Kadian has had significant involvement with a number of charities and community projects. Most notably having worked as a coordinator for a voluntary organisation, whose primary goal was to enrich the lives of the elderly within the local community. During her time with the organisation she managed to create positive links with the local community. She also planned and hosted a number of fundraising events, raising over £100,000.00 for the organisation. During her employment she raised the organisation’s profile through various local campaigns and assisted with issues relating to service user’s health/general well-being, and where necessary refer to the relevant services or authority.

Kadian was the 2007 UnLtd Millenium award winner where she spear headed a project aimed at encouraging children and young adults, of differing cultural socioeconomic backgrounds into focusing on education through the use of various techniques including mentoring.
